L'ortolan retains its Michelin star for the ninth year

L’ortolan is delighted to announce that it has retained its one Michelin star status, remaining Reading’s only Michelin starred restaurant.

The restaurant in Shinfield, was first awarded with a Michelin star in 2003. It is one of only 56 restaurants in England outside of London to be awarded with one Michelin star.

Alan Murchison, Executive Chef, added that he was ‘Delighted for the whole team and all the hard work and dedication they have put in over the last 12 months’.

The restaurant was re-opened in September 2001 so this year the restaurant is celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary culminating in an event to mark the occasion on 12th September.
