Please note that we are closed on a Sunday and Monday but can open on these days by prior arrangement.
Christmas Break: L'ortolan will close after lunch on Christmas Eve and reopen on Thursday 5th January 2012

By train:
If you are travelling to us by train from London the most direct route is Paddington to Reading.
By taxi:
A taxi from Reading should cost around £10, travel time approximately 10-15 minutes.
By road:
1. At junction 11 of the M4 take the A33 towards Basingstoke.
2. At the traffic lights start following the brown tourist signs for L’ortolan.
3. Take the left hand filter lane and go through Three Mile Cross.
3. After the garage on the right turn left at the mini roundabout.
4. Go down country lane for 1 mile.
5. Turn right at the 6 Bells / Hungry Horse pub.
6. L'ortolan is the first drive on the left.
